
On December 12, 2025, the spokesperson team of the Internal Security Operations Command (ISOC) announced the sad news and expressed condolences on the death of Sergeant Major Wutthachak Thotong, or Sergeant Jay, of the 25th Cavalry Battalion, 4th Cavalry Regiment, Royal Guard (M.4 Bn.25 RG), the 11th hero to sacrifice his life to protect Thai soil.

The spokesperson for the Internal Security Operations Command (ISOC) stated that while the situation on the eastern border remains tense, Sergeant Jae performed his duty with strength and honor as a soldier until the last moment of his life, in order to prevent threats from encroaching into Thai territory.
The passing of Sergeant Jay is a great loss to the army, but his name will forever remain like an iron fortress in our hearts.
